Then I would take great delight in a private war with that neutral, regardless of which side he joins, and without attacking any of his ‘allies’ - other than if they are the transgressing neutral! If on the other hand that neutral has declared (icon flipped), then that would no longer be a neutral.
On the other hand, for the paltry fee of 1 RA you may name a hex in advance and place a camp there.
I don’t think I told the Free which artefacts to research - please start at #200 and work downwards, or research any artefacts your side holds with numbers > 100.
Progress on contracts:
The QA has kindly left Jug Rijesha undefended. So, downgrades permitting, I’ll fulfil the contract this turn. That will give me the capacity for some new task for the Free, should they so desire. Unless of course the Free ask me to go Dark (as Amroth proposed).
The Free are putting up a spirited resistance at Buhr Mahrling, where the two Easterling starting armies face a Dwarven and an Eothraim army. This contract could take some time, but I’m doing my best …
My cavalry was late arriving (seems the commander wasn’t good enough to be evasive…). But we had a nice cup of tea with a terribly nice Northman commander while our armies looked edgily at each other. They are present now.
I’m not sure which side has the greater benefit. Any opinions?

If Lord Amroth is determined to carry out his most un-businesslike threat, please have the honour to inform me now. If the Free are declaring war on me I naturally have no need to attack the QA. Especially since you haven’t paid me. I’ve no wish to choose sides, but I’ll join your enemy if you insist.

This seems odd…The free don’t pay but you attack?
The Dark begin payment but you are being countered.
So the Dark while being a good mate on both sides are being punished for that.
Shouldn’t you make the free wait until the task against them is honored before doing another action?

Having just failed to learn RA myself (the sages SWORE it was an easy spell…), I have a little sympathy, and won’t consider you in default for that reason.
However if you’re behind in payment, I may prioritise the other sides’ orders, for example in choosing where to use mounts vs infantry and so on.
