The grudge team I play with just ended a WotR scenario. We really like this scenario, and it looks like the team consensus will be to play it again. However, we were DS last time, and would like to be FP in our next game. The other team waiting to play WorR also wants to play FP.

FYI: our last 2 games were WotR FP we won in 24 turns, and WotR DS we won in 11 turns.
First, the neutral split in your DS WOTR game wasn’t the best for us. It was my suggestion to make the split that way and it was a big mistake.
Second, we had a number of problems within the team that never allowed us to get on track. That coupled with your team’s good play meant we were doomed from the start.

Oddly, I never commented on my win% and such until PRS came around. I thought that people “bragging” was supposed to add a layer of fun to the game. I’m just trying to add fun.
I am indeed, on a very good team. It is the strong team nature of the game which had me arguing against an individual PRS in the first place.
How about you put your money where your mouth is? You play all 12 positions and take on our team.
Darrel, first off, I don’t think anyone questions that you can play. But, the issue here is that you are alienating 24 other players in 233 by trying to make a point which even you think is moot.
Secondly, I used to play with the Rev. Kevin Given and Steve Muller for many years, and we were never beat either, and it is only my absence from the game for a few years that prevented me from playing with them further. And, I have to say, we had questionable players on our teams, but we still rolled over teams like you did… so it’s nothing to hide behind a superior team and call YOURself good.
The question is… can you be noble and good in all your games, where you can’t hide…

My beef isn’t with anyone on your team who you hide behind - it’s with you. You claim to be a team player, and that you might be, but you’ve yet to demonstrate it in any worthwhile manner in a public forum. So let’s just take ‘team’ out of the equation and see how goodyou really are.

Note if ever anyone wants to play Bofa 1v1 that’s fine with us (whatever variant rules you want) - get in touch. Lots of fun and the format is quite cool. Played it a lot now and there’s a lot of subtlety in it.

Simply understand that no matter how many times or how loudly you say it, the rest of this game community, especially those innocent lab rats of yours in 233, have interpreted your actions more like Ben has than you might like. As for a rematch, Id love to play that team again because frankly I didnt see anything astonishing…but then the dwarves are kept out of the front line anyways…If by the same neutral split you mean we get the WW and Duns this game…that sounds acceptable because thats the only reason your WK lasted in the NW as long as he did…if you are insinuating that your team playing the freeps should retain those 2 neutrals then you are on crack…because thats heavily unbalanced…but thats another matter entirely…
Ive said my peace about you and this 234 game, and frankly Im done with both, if all you do is open your mouth about “new rating system this” “Im a god player that”…just get back to the fun of the game…

Now I’m not one for subtlety, obviously, and neither are you. If you had just let it go and not written those two lines I wouldn’t have jumped down your throat. But no, you couldn’t keep you stupid trap shut and you just had to say something. BOFA doesn’t interest me. I want to kick your ass all over the map, not just northern Mirkwood.
