Game 225 - War Begins

Gelding,

If your wit gets any sharper I may wake up!!!

Din the bored.

Any other elfies out there with more {yawn} stealth?

Dim,

Try winning some battles, that might be more exciting than the ones you keep losing to FP armies.

– Gildring

Foolish wretch, why not come down through the Morannon pass and meet death sooner instead of coming around the Eastern Gap?

  • Lord Urzahil

Gelding…or should that be Gelded?,

There’s an age old saying, winning the odd battle doesn’t win the war!

Din the wise

Gelding,

Do you trumpet the official party line, or are you merely the puppet that Elrond wields? We know where El-Drone likes to stick his hands. However, the nonsense you spout is such obvious drivel [though often entertaining], we cant help but wonder if the real plans are being made by those with more wits than a factotum to a half-elven king! we can see through your lies, young Gelding. You have been revealed once too often, such that your attempts at deceit have become a running joke in the halls of morannon, barad-dur and barad-ungol. much like the graffiti on your own walls. We know what is true and what is not. We will prove it with our skill in the forthcoming weeks, whatever the damage to Our Masters Empire we will overcome this elven-conspiracy of capitalist lust…

DENDRA the proud

Geldingaling,

Even as you are outnumbered here, so shall you be in the war. It is no accident that you will be saved for last. We want to draw out your suffering for as long as possible. We may even allow you to stick around after this war ends. I will need a chained jester for my courts when I rule the West from Isengard.

-Ovatharuss
Future Lord of the Khand Westerlings

Urzahil,

We have pierced the defenses at Morannon once already in this war, with Bugrug marching deep into central Mordor.

If we wanted to we could certainly do it again.

Our strategy in Khand will reward us nicely now that the East is overrun with Free armies. And a very capable Free agent is in the area, as the ghost of Taurion testifies.

– Gildring

Geld-a-thing,

please oh please come to morannon. we don`t get much in the way of celebrities, z-list or whatever!

Bethesda the Butch

ps; will you be my be-hatch?

Why should we come to Morannon when we can kill you from The Black Gate (which is a redundant moniker, you know)?

I know your numbers at Morannon, fool Krusknak, and I’m not impressed. And Bulraker, you’ll need a lot more troops than that to go anywhere in Mirkwood.

Coward Ren! Do not refuse challenge at Barad Ungol. You are finished anyway, so don’t add shame by fleeing or falling at your capital without a fight!

– Gildring

Tick Tock, Tick Tock
The Clock speeds us on towards Monday.
The Freeps sulk about, silently
contemplating how to circumvent
certain Doom.

Yes, believe that lie if you wish-- the FP are sulking, suffering, surfing the tide of despair.

And the DS are losing battles in Khand and Harondor; losing one of the nazgul and a Dog Lord army commander; losing their grip on reality.

– Gildring

of course i believe you, but then i was vey vey drunk,

me old gelded buddy.

bulrakur the drunk

He’s not kidding, either! After all, we are:

Team Lush!!!

hic

Well I’m drunker than all you! Ardbeg in a jam jar…

– Gildrungk

Ever notice how there seems to be less game-related email on the weekends? Now we know why! Yet, the game is even more interesting with a bit of “fuel” in you!

hic !!

Tonight, we drink together. Monday, you die. Elves still scuk.

PS: I suggest that your agents stop trying anything at Havens of Umbar: looks like it’s pretty difficult to operate there…

  • Well, Roberto, it looks like I found a way around this “agent performance” problem at the Havens you spoke of very recently. It’s quite easy to operate there now.

King of Khand and Umbar

Ovaries-- too bad your big cav army is too far away too do much good in Khand.

Dim-- you are lucky to have escaped with grievious wounds. Bet get those healed.
You could get SICK and die.

Ren-- death has cleansed you. Your hapless guard failed you.

Dendra-- enjoy your last turn. Any last wishes?

Khamul-- will yet another Nazgul be eliminated this fortnight?

– Gildring

<<Ovaries-- too bad your big cav army is too far away too do much good in Khand. >>

  • Well . . since the former Corsairs Colony (this is definately no “empire” here . . .) is now part of the Khand Empire . . my Huge Cav Armies are, technically, “in Khand”.

  • Also, Robertorunya has my deepest sympathy this turn. I only just learned that he lost two commanders in addition to his capital. I hope this doesn’t trigger any annoying “Northmen flashbacks”. The Deja Vu he must be feeling has to be crippling! Always look on the bright side of life . . .maybe the next nation he takes over in this game will meet with more success! One of the Gondors will probably be ripe to drop soon enough. Give old R-Man one more shot, Geldinger! He won’t let you down a third time! . . . at least, maybe not . . …

ps- Now that this is taken care, it’s time to watch Two Towers Extended! Ah, how I love Wal-Mart at Midnight . . .

** I felt the need to laugh at this statement publicly before I go to bed. ::Ahem::, “HA HA!”

“Now that this is taken care, it’s time to watch Two Towers Extended!”

my 15 month old daughter has been laughing and giggling at gollum all morning…is that the effect he`s supposed to have?
