The “Circle” isn’t a team rated under the top ten.
The reason is that we’ve only played two games together and the last game we’ve given up because many team-mates haven’t had the time to play it further on.
Finally I have enough time to play a new game and you can ask Simon about our performance.

Loke I might taunt the other side in game but once the game is done and dusted its a little unfair to carry it on.
So I wont list there scalps as those games are done and dusted.
But I will be interested in the calibre of the team you settle for as I always say they dont come any harder than me.

I´ve given up on the “dynamite fishing” as it only produced one dead duck (this thread) and the Oracle from Cardiff will act as quality control, dont know if he uses the same kind of fumes Pythia did, but he must use something.
As our team really knows nothing about Franks incognito team, its kind of opposit with Gix´s and yes Ill have a chat with Simon about it. Anyways, its up to Clint now.
Frank I see your point, but you could have sendt an email, to spare the feelings of your victims.
Write to Clint and he will give you his prophecy.

Frank’s team beat a team consisting of me and 2 other folks (he was FP and we were DS). They won by turn 16/17. They beat us by economics. We were doing well militarily and characterwise. But they drove the market to all 1s and we just didn’t have the economic base to survive the harsh winter. That game ended last February 1. We could have played it well out into the 20s or perhaps 30s, but we were gentlemen and felt that they had won fair & square. That was grudge game 53, 1650.
I then joined Frank’s team for grudge game 84, 1650. that game just ended. We were DS and again, Frank’s team won that game, the FP having just conceded on turn 21. Tim Huiatt is also on the team as he has indicated on the forum. I’ll let others speak up or not as they see fit.
If you want stiff competition, you should play Frank’s team. If you want softer competition, play someone else.

If both Frank and Gerhard notified Clint, Thomas K, our team captain will very soon recieve a mail. Havent talked to Simon yet, but memory tells me that Gerhards team is good, Simon knows, being a former member he ought to at least:cool:.
Frankly, there are rumours in this community, even those not generated by a computer. If these are the primary source of info on your team (sporting Vandal as its only member or its only known member), what do you expect us to do?

Yeah, well pretty late into the thread, reread it and try to read it with our eyes, then you will see what I meant. Dave is the only one to post something containing info and that after this thread lost its purpose.
My teammates got disenchanted with this tread and I surrendered, anything we discuss here is of no consequense. Unless it passes Cardiff on the way, it will not reach team internal discussion.

Clearly it is the perogative of your team to choose your opponents, just as they will have an opportunity to accept or decline any challenge your team proposes. I was simply trying to give you data since one of your most recent posts on the thread asked for data.
I have no idea what you mean wrt “rumors” or computer generated ones or whatever. I’ll clearly state that Frank is an outstanding MEPBM player. He is fun to be on a team with and I learned a lot from him in game 84 (and I’ve been playing this game since 1992). Some day soon I want to play him as an enemy to see if I can beat him… LOL
One problem with the concept of teams is that they are not static. Even in a single game, RL intervenes and people have to be replaced if they must quit. We had a player quit early in game 84 due to RL, and then rejoin the team once he was again able. I don’t frankly see how ME Games can hope to have team ratings with anything other than bragging rights for the “leader”. Sort of like world cup soccer. go USA! (yeah, we’re a big underdog… heh)

Sorry Frank and Team if my comments were a bit rough on you, being in no position to judge your prowess, doubt took over.
The good news are that Clint sendt a mail with 3 possible quality opponents.

Its interesting that I may also have got that same e mail.
I have no idea how good the other side is but Clint reckons they are good, so that must mean we are all a bunch of losers.
By the way we where 12 against 3 in 53 so thats no mean feat to do over a dark servant team of 3 players against an entire team.
As I said we like a challange, even against 3 players, would I take on a single player even? What do you think?
